Army rescues US citizen injured during paragliding

Shimla Oct 25 (IANS) Indian Army rescued US citizen Barry Roberts who was injured while paragliding in Himachal Pradesh s Palampur an army official said on Wednesday.
His paraglider hit the rock at 3 900 metre altitude around 3 p.m. on Tuesday the official said adding Roberts was rescued successfully from crash site early on Wednesday by an army helicopter from Pathankot tasked by the Western Command for the operation.
