Army foils infiltration bid in J&K, militant killed

Srinagar Nov 3 (IANS) The Indian Army on Friday foiled an infiltration bid at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir s Kupwara district an official said.
The infiltration bid was foiled in Machil sector of Kupwara district a defence spokesperson said in a statement adding that one militant was killed during the gunfight and a search operation was still on in the area.
