Goa set to host second World Gaming Festival
Panaji Nov 24 (IANS) The second edition of World Gaming Festival (casino) will be held here from November 30 to December 4 the organisers Delta Corp announced here on Friday.
The first edition of the festival was held in 2011.
The upcoming edition will be held on three ships -- Deltin Jaqk Deltin Royale and Deltin Caravela.
"Most of the participants will be Indians; we might also see some foreign tourists joining us on the deck " Anil Malani President Delta Corp told IANS.
The last edition was stretched over a week while this time it will be a five-day affair.
"Earlier we had a week-long festival now it will conclude in five days keeping in mind the high air fare hotel charges of our customers " Malani said.
Performances by singer Bhumi Trivedi and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are expected to take place here during the festival.
