ISL: Late Alfaro brace helps Pune edge past Mumbai 2-1

Pune Nov 29 (IANS) Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro scored a second-half brace to help FC Pune City come back from the jaws of defeat and edge past Mumbai City FC 2-1 in an Indian Super League (ISL) match here at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Alfaro (74th Pen and 90th) made sure his team kept pace with early pacesetters Bengaluru FC (six points from two games) as they now have six points from three outings. They are placed second as Bengaluru are top of the heap.
Balwant Singh (15th) scored for Mumbai who slipped a rung to sixth from fith position with three points from three matches.
