Lokomotiv beats Nice in Europa League

Nice (France) Feb 16 (IANS) Russias Lokomotiv Moscow defeated Frances Nice 3:2 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Leagues round of 32 at the Allianz Riviera stadium here.
Mario Balotelli s early double in the fourth and 28th minutes seemingly put Nice in charge on Thursday but Manuel Fernandes penalty at the stroke of half-time turned the tide reports Tass news agency.
Lokomotiv managed to recover with a hat trick scored by Fernandes (in the 45th 69th and 77th minutes).
The second leg will be held at Moscow s RZD-Arena on February 22.
