Golfers Bhav Karan, Joginder qualify for National finals

Chandigarh Feb 21 (IANS) Bhav Karan Singh and Joginder Randhawa qualified for the National finals of the Mercedes Trophy golf meet here it was announced on Wednesday.
Bhav Karan and Joginder clinched the qualification spots by carding a nett. score of 71.4 and 73.2 respectively.
The best Gross Winner of the day was Raman Kumar with a round of 78 and there were a host of other prizes on offer to be won on the day.
The format of play was Double Peoria. This unique format of adjusting handicaps of players levels the playing field enabling golfers to have a greater chance of qualifying for the National finals.
