Beckham to visit Indonesia on Sunday
Jakarta March 23 (IANS) Former England star David Beckham is scheduled to attend a charity event here on Sunday to raise funds to help finance Indonesian football training schools for children.
The former Manchester United star will appear in a football clinic event held in Jakarta s football lawn of Soemantri Brodjonegoro reports Xinhua news agency.
"Beckham s presence would give happiness and inspire Indonesian children to be like him. Indonesian young players would obtain knowledge and skills to play football directly from himself " Indonesia Youths and Sports Minister Imam Nachrawi said.
