Huntelaar, Onana save Ajax at Groningen

Groningen (The Netherlands) April 2 (IANS) A late strike by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and a couple of saves by goalkeeper Andre Onana handed Ajax Amsterdam a 2-1 away win at FC Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie here.
FC Groningen scored first through an early goal by Tom van Weert during Sunday evening s match. The hosts failed to double their lead when Onana saved a penalty reports Xinhua news agency.
Thanks to Onana Ajax stayed in the match and after Justin Kluivert headed in the equaliser and Ajax defender Joel Veltman received a red card Huntelaar struck in the 89th minute to hand Ajax the win.
