Monchengladbach sign England U-21 midfielder Bennetts

Berlin May 19 (IANS) Borussia Monchengladbach have signed midfielder Keanan Bennetts from English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur both sides have confirmed.
The England U-21 international will stay until summer 2022 after penning a four-year deal with the German top division club reports Xinhua news agency.
"Keanan can play on several attacking positions. He has played for Tottenham in the Premier League 2 and in the UEFA Youth League. We trust him to make the step into the Bundesliga and are delighted that he has opted for Monchengladbach " sporting director Max Eberl said on Friday.
Borussia s new arrival has made 32 competitive appearances and provided nine goals and eight assists in all competitions for Tottenham s second team.
"Borussia is one of the biggest teams in Germany s top flight. I am looking forward to the great atmosphere in the Borussia Park stadium " the 19-year-old told the club s official homepage.
Dieter Hecking s men complete the 2017-2018 Bundesliga season on the ninth position of the standings.
