Beckham predicts England-Argentina World Cup final

London June 21 (IANS) Former England football captain David Beckham on Thursday predicted an England-Argentina final in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.
"I think obviously my choice would be England to win the competition but that s me being biased and passionate about my country " Beckham was quoted as saying by BBC while speaking at an event in China.
The last time England progressed to the quarter-finals was in 2006. Beckham was the captain then. Two-time winners Argentina were runners-up in 2014 and won the World Cup in 1978 and 1986.
"I m very happy that we won the first game in the group " Beckham said.
"England is a very young team they don t have a lot of experience yet and the journey of the World Cup will become harder and harder because there are many good teams in the tournament " the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star added.
England beat Tunisia 2-1 in their opening game with skipper Harry Kane scoring a brace that included a last-ditch winner in second half added time.
