Roma signs Brazilian goalkeeper Daniel Fuzato

Rome July 10 (IANS) Italy s professional football club AS Roma has announced an agreement to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Daniel Fuzato until 2022.
The 21-year-old played last season at the Brazilian club Palmeiras after coming up through their youth academy and is Roma s 10th summer signing reports Efe.
"Today begins an incredible new adventure in my career " Fuzato said in a statement on Roma s website on Monday.
"I know Roma very well because the club has a long tradition of great Brazilian goalkeepers. I will do everything I can to follow in their footsteps " he added.
Fuzato will reinforce Roma s goalkeeping roster which already has Brazil s Alisson Becker and Italy s Antonio Mirante.
"In Daniel we have identified a player with the potential to represent Roma in the future " the club s Spanish sporting director Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo Monchi said.
Fuzato also chose to wear shirt No. 63 because it was the year his father was born the club added.
