West Ham signs forward Andriy Yarmolenko from Dortmund
London July 11 (IANS) Ukraine forward Andriy Yarmolenko has signed a four-year contract with West Ham the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.
West Ham chose not to disclose the fee they paid for the 28-year-old who joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund reports Efe.
"Of course I am very happy to sign for West Ham United." Yarmolenko said.
"West Ham is a big club with good fans and I am happy to come to play in the Premier League " he added.
"The Premier League is the best league in the world and I know that an interesting project is being built here at West Ham. The team wants to achieve high things and I am excited for this challenge " Yarmolenko said.
Yarmolenko is West Ham s fifth summer signing after Jack Wilshere Issa Diop Ryan Fredericks and Lukasz Fabianski.
With Dortmund Yarmolenko played 18 games and scored three goals.
