Asian Games committee provides over 1.2 million tickets
Jakarta July 11 (IANS) The 18th Asian Games is set to sell more than 1.2 million tickets a member of the organizing committee said here on Wednesday.
"We will sell over 1.2 million tickets during the Asian Games for all the sports " Danny Buldansyah an organising committee official was quoted by Kontan media as saying.
The tickets are sold online with prices hovering from 750 000 rupiah ($52) to 7.5 million rupiah (about $520) reports Xinhua news agency.
A total of 11 000 athletes and officials will participate in the Asian Games which will run from August 18 to September 2 in Jakarta and Palembang.
