France s Digne pens 5-year deal with Everton

Barcelona Aug 1 (IANS) France left-back Lucas Digne has signed a five-year contract with Everton after his two seasons with Barcelona the English side announced on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old underwent his medical tests on Tuesday a day after he left Barcelona s pre-season tour in the US reports Efe.
"Everton is a big club with a great history " Digne said according to the Toffees. "I want to show my best football here and discover the best league in the world. Everybody loves the Premier League. I am loving the fact I am coming here.
"I am not afraid I am excited. For me it is a new challenge to discover a country a league people and a great club such as Everton. It is fabulous " he added.
Digne played 45 matches during his spell at the Catalan club with which he won La Liga title last season.
"Thanks for everything and good luck Lucas Digne!" Barcelona tweeted.
