Real Madrid s Odriozola to miss UEFA Super Cup with injury
Madrid Aug 13 (IANS) Real Madrid s Spanish right back Alvaro Odriozola is to miss the UEFA Super Cup clash against Atlético Madrid with a right leg abductor injury the Champions League reigning champion announced on Monday.
Although the La Liga club did not reveal for how long 22-year-old Odriozola would be sidelined the recovery from this kind of injury could take between 1-2 weeks reports Efe.
"After the tests carried out by the Real Madrid Sanitas Medical Services on our player Alvaro Odriozola he has been diagnosed with a grade one injury in the abductor of the right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed " the club said in a statement on its website.
