La Laguna (Spain) Sep 27 (IANS) The Spanish women s basketball team defeated Senegal 63-48 and moved to the quarterfinals of the 2018 Women s Basketball World Cup.
Spain was struggling with Senegal s three-point shots in the first 20 minutes of the match (34-34) on Wednesday night.
Then thanks to its defensive tactics the Spanish squad ended the match comfortably with a victory over Senegal reports Efe news. Spain will now face Canada in the quarters.
