Munich : Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has returned to individual training after suffering a muscle injury, the German football giants said on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich did not make it clear if Italian head coach Carlo Ancelotti will be able to count on Alcantara for Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen, reports Efe.
The Bavarian club hopes that Thiago can join the squad for the Champions League game against Arsenal on February 15.
The Spanish midfielder sustained a thigh injury and had to leave Bayern’s camp during the winter break.
On Tuesday, he did some running and light ball work.
