Shaji Ul Mulk's T10 Cricket witnesses phenomenal success in second season

Sharjah, Dec 3 (IANS) The second season of T10 cricket league has witnessed phenomenal success and league chairman Shaji Ul Mulk feels the tournament will grow bigger in the coming years."We are proud to see contribution of world class talent in this stretch of T10 league. I am sure in the coming years, we'll get to see more players across the globe who'll set new world records," said Mulk.A heady mix of world's best cricketers, country's corporate bigwigs and Bollywood stars took the second season of league by storm. Just like the Internet turned the globe into a smaller place, T10 cricket league brought together a majority of the cricket stars, leading to record breaking performances, spectacular batting, bowling, fielding and eventually changed the complexion of the international game.T10 League is the world's first and currently the only professional ten-over format international cricket league backed by the Emirates Cricket Board and sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC), governing body of international cricket.Notably, the tournament is played over ten days, with a round robin followed by semi-finals and the final. The 2018 edition was played from November 21 to December 2 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
