Tactic is not to allow rival to play own game: Boxer Nikhat

New Delhi, July 26 (IANS) Former junior world champion Nikhat Zareen (51kg), who on Friday became the lone woman boxer to make the finals of the Thailand International Tournament in Bangkok, said the strategy in the summit clash would be to not allow her opponent play her natural game."My strategy will be not to allow her to play her own game in which is feels comfortable," Zareen told IANS from Bangkok.Zareen will take on 2018 Asian Games gold medallist Chang Yuan on Saturdray.I am really excited for the finals. To beat the best you need to give your best..So I'm going to give my best," Zareen said.The tournament has been very good. In every fight, I have given my best and I'm sure in the finals also I'm not going to give less than that," she added.Meanwhile, Asian silver-winner Deepak Singh (49kg) led a four-strong Indian men's charge into the summit clashes.Ashish Kumar (75kg), Mohammed Husammuddin (56kg) and Brijesh Yadav (81kg) were the other three men to make the gold medal bouts.Nikhat took on Thailand's Jutamas Jitpong. She edged past the local 4-1.
