Red Bull volleyball meet returns with third edition in Kerala

Kerala, Nov 15 (IANS) The third edition of the Red Bull Battle For The State volleyball tournament will be held here after its return to India, organisers said in a statement.The volleyball meet is a state level Panchayat championship that identifies the best panchayat team in the state of Kerala. The tournament is currently being held at six different locations, followed by the state finals.While a traditional volleyball match consists of five sets with 25 points, matches in Red Bull Battle For The State will be played in three sets of 15 points each. The matches will be very fast and there will be little time to strategise.There will be 16 teams in each of the six locations. The winning team from each location will enter the final to be played on December 1 in Kottayam.
