Stuttgart releases defender Grosskreutz following nightclub fight

Berlin March 3 (IANS) Bundesliga football club Vfb Stuttgart rescinded on Friday the contract of defender Kevin Grosskreutz after he was involved in a fight on Tuesday after leaving a nightclub and had to be treated in a hospital.

The club in a press release said it is pleased that Grosskreutz has not suffered serious injuries but came to the conclusion that it could not ignore what had happened reports Efe.
