Bengaluru FC to wear pink jersey to mark Women s Day against Chennai

Chennai March 8 (IANS) I-League football tournament defending champions Bengaluru FC will don pink jerseys commemorating the International Women s Day when they take on Chennai City FC in a 13th round tie here at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday.

The India and Bengaluru FC stalwart also took to Twitter wishing all the anchors in his life a happy Women s Day.

Bengaluru players also wore pink shirts after four men allegedly molested a woman in the early hours of New Year s day in the Garden City.

Bengaluru FC are fifth on points table with 16 points from 11 matches.
