Putin wants Russian National Guard for FIFA World Cup security

Moscow March 28 (IANS) President Vladimir Putin has called on the Russian National Guard to ensure security at the 2018 football World Cup in Russia.

Work on ensuring security at the forthcoming FIFA World Cup and Confederations Cup will require much effort Putin said on Monday at a meeting with the Russian Guard s command reports Tass news agency.
