Leverkusen winger Brandt s father denies Bayern Munich switch report

Berlin April 3 (IANS) Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt s father has rubbished a media report that the Germany footballer has agreed terms to join Bayern Muncih.

German media house Bild had reported last week that Bayern have reached an agreement with Brandt for a transfer fee of around $25 million.

The 20-year-old s current contract expires in 2019 but he would be available in the summer of 2018 for 12.5 million euros ($13.3 million) due to a release clause.

It is fake news that Julian has agreed terms with Bayern Julian s father Jurgen Brandt told Kicker magazine on Monday.

Julian has never been in the situation where he had to -- or wanted to -- make a decision on his future.

English club Liverpool also reportedly intend to sign Brandt.
