Spain s Vinales wins Argentine MotoGP
Buenos Aires April 10 (IANS) Spain s Maverick Vinales clocked 41 minutes and 45.060 seconds to win his second consecutive MotoGP race with a comfortable victory in the Argentine Grand Prix here.
The 22-year-old became the first Yamaha rider since Wayne Rainey in 1991 to win the first two races of the season reports Xinhua news agency.
Italy s seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi was second on his Yamaha on Sunday finishing 2.915 seconds behind Vinales at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit.
Britain s Cal Crutchlow was third on his Honda less than a second further back.
Reigning champion Marc Marquez who started from pole position crashed out on lap four while leading the race.
