Juventus renews Dybala contract until 2022 (Lead)

Turin April 13 (IANS) Argentine striker Paulo Dybala renewed his contract with Serie A side Juventus until 2022 the Turin club announced on Thursday.

The Bianconeri explained in a statement that Dybala s original contract valid until 2020 has been extended until June 30 2022 reports Efe.

The striker who scored twice in Juventus 3-0 victory against Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday arrived at the club in summer 2015 from Palermo for 32 million euros ($34 million).

Even though the club did not reveal his salary Italian media hinted his income could reach 7.5 million euros ($7.9 million) a season.

Dybala has been referred to as Lionel Messi s possible successor while the Barcelona star recognised him as the future of the Argentina national team.
