Spain s Ferrer defeats Harrison to face Carreno in Estoril Open semis
Lisbon May 6 (IANS) Spain s David Ferrer fourth seed at the Estoril Open defeated American Ryan Harrison to face his compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta in the semi-finals of the Estoril tennis tournament.
Ferrer defeated his opponent 6-4 6-0 in one hour and 11 minutes on Friday reports Efe.
In the semi-finals the Spaniard will face Carreno who also eliminated on Friday his fellow countryman Nicolas Almagro the winner in Estoril last year when both met in the final.
Ferrer s pass to the semi-finals also ensures that one of the finalists of this ATP-250 tournament will be Spanish.
