Gebretsadik, Jemeli win Prague Marathon
Prague May 8 (IANS) Ethiopia s Abraha Gebretsadik and Aiyabei Valary Jemeli of Kenya won the men s and women s title respectively in the Prague Marathon.
Abraha won the men s event on Sunday with 2:08:47 and Aiyabei won the women s contest with a record 2:21:57 which is 37 seconds faster than the 2011 record of her compatriot Lydia Cheromei reports Xinhua news agency.
In the men s category Bazu Worku finished second followed by Mekuant Ayenew both from Ethiopia.
In the women s category Ethiopians Amane Beris and Tadeleh Bekele finished second and third.
