Dutch international Karsdorp to undergo medical with Roma

Rome June 27 (IANS) Dutch international Rick Karsdorp arrived here on Tuesday to undergo a medical test with Italian football club A.S. Roma.

Karsdorp who won the Eredivisie last season with Feyenoord landed at Rome airport on Tuesday morning and will sign his contract after the medical check-up the club reported on its website reports Efe.

A talented right-back he made his first team debut in 2014 at the age of 19 and won a Dutch Cup and an Eredivisie in the three seasons he spent with the Rotterdam team.

While waiting for the official statement expected in the next few hours Roma is proving to be one of the most active Italian teams in this transfer window.

In addition to signing new players the Wolves also sold Egyptian Mohamed Salah to Liverpool for 42 million euros ($47.33 million) on Thursday.
