Djokovic advances to Wimbledon final 16
London July 9 (IANS) Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic the tourney s second seed reached the Wimbledon final 16 for the 10th time after beating Latvia s Ernests Gulbis.
The world number 4 Serbian defeated his Latvian rival 6-4 6-1 7-6 (2) in two hours and 11 minutes on Saturday to continue his campaign to claim his fourth Wimbledon title Efe news reported.
Djokovic will face off in the next round against France s Adrian Mannarino ranked number 51 who battled to a 7-6(3) 4-6 5-7 6-3 6-2 victory over his compatriot Gael Monfils.
