Sabudana Vada - Fried/Baked

  Ingredients :
3-4 - Potatoes , boiled
2 Cup - Sabudana (Tapioca Sago) - soaked for couple of hrs
1 tsp - Green Chilies - Chopped
1/2 cup - Peanut, roasted
Rock Salt - to taste
Black Pepper
Oil / Ghee

  Method :

Crush the boiled potatoes and mix them well with the soaked Sabudana (Sago)
Then add all other spices and dry ingredients and mix them well in Sago
Once the Sago has been mixed properly, it will be ready to make cutlets. Make patties out of it by rolling it in between your palms
Size them as per your need and requirements
Heat oil/ ghee  in a wok and deep fry patties till golden colour.
Drain them on kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
Serve hot !!!

Note : For health conscious people, patties can be baked in microwave instead of deep frying it. Procedure for baking patties :

In baking sheet lined with non-stick aluminium foil, brush with oil and set aside.  Place patties  on a well greased baking sheet leaving 2 inch space between each other.
Brush the top of patties with oil so that it gets oil in both sides. Bake for 45 minutes or until they become golden brown, flipping in between every 15 minutes.
Serve Warm.
