Ingredients :
1/2 kg - Mutton
1/2 kg - Onion, sliced
1 tsp - Kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
2 tsp - Coriander powder
2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
2 – Whole dry red chilli
1 tsp – Garam Masala
Salt to taste
Oil
Whole Spices
2-3 – Cloves
1 inch – Cinnamon
1 tsp - Shah Jeera
8-10 - Black Pepper
2 – Bay Leaves
2 – Black Cardamom
3-4 -  Green Cardamom
1 cup – Curd
1 tsp – lemon juice
Coriander leaves for garnishing

  Method:

Grind all whole spices - cloves, cinnamon, shah jeera, black pepper, 1 black cardamom, green cardamom into a powder form.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker add bay lease, 1 black cardamom, whole dry red chilli and sliced onion.(add half sliced onion and leave rest for further use)
Fry onion till golden then add mutton , salt and turmeric powder.
Fry mutton for 10 -12 minutes on high flame or until excess water of mutton dry up.
Then add garam masala, whole spices powder, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder and rest left sliced onions.
Cook for 8 - 10 minutes and then add required water if needed and close the cooker lid.
After 2-3 whistle simmer the flame and cook for another 5-8 minutes or until it is 90% cooked.
Open the lid, add curd, lemon juice and fry masala well till oil separation stage.
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with roti and jeera rice.
