Rs. 4 Lakh to Family Members in case of Farmers, Labourers’ Death at Work Place Due to Accident
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan apprised himself about the progress status of the implementation of various announcements at Mantralaya today. He reviewed the status of the announcements made during conventions and panchayats held in December and January months. He told the officers that compliance of announcements is necessary within time limit. It is informed that provision has been made to give Rs. 4 lakh to the family members in case of death of registered labourers and farmers at work place due to accident. Chief Secretary B.P. Singh and Principal Secretaries of various departments were present in the meeting.
CM Chouhan said that the human waste carried by humans is inhumane. Lay focus to eliminate this arrangement in the state. Cycle rickshaws and hand carts should be replaced by e-rickshaw and e-loader. Driving training should also be given. He directed the officials to give priority to the cycle rickshaw and hand cart operators in the primary phase of the scheme. Moreover Chouhan gave directives for monitoring of proper housing arrangements at construction site for labourers engaged in construction, equal pay for equal work and strictly adherence of labour laws. Chouhan directed the officials to purchase smart phones and lap tops given by the various departments through integrated system.
Concrete Results Must Come from Objectives of ‘Namami Devi Narmade’-Seva Yatra
Chouhan mentioned that concrete results must come from the objectives of the ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva Yatra before the culmination of yatra. He told the officers to explore the possibilities of hostel facilities to be provided to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students at Delhi towards coaching and for pursuing studies from next academic session. . He said that assistance should be provided actively to the students of weaker section for higher education. These students will become carrier of development for their communities. Furthermore Chouhan gave directives to complete activities till March to provide cycles to the students living in settlements far from the schools. He laid special emphasis for efforts to promote women self help groups. He said that special work action plan should be made for generating new employment opportunities through self help groups under the Mission Mode. Further Chouhan directed the officials to prepare a detailed scheme to make organic farming profitable.
Amarkantak Will Be Made Ideal Holy Place
CM Chouhan gave directives to develop Amarkantak as the ideal holy place. He told the officials to prepare a master plan for this. He said that Amarkntak should be developed in the orderly form. No one should lose employment and become houseless. He laid emphasis on orderly arrangements of construction works cropped up like plants in the city. Chouhan gave directives to constitute a committee of principal secretaries of law, finance, forest, revenue and panchayat and rural development departments for action in this regard. He said that certain percent of the income of liquor shops should be made available for the de-addiction campaign. He asked the officials to prepare and present a draft for this.
Scheme Worth Rs. 117 Crore Approved by Union Government to Encourage Organic Farming
It is informed in the meeting that an integrated scheme worth Rs. 117 crore has been approved by the Union Government to encourage organic farming among the women of Scheduled tribe. Moreover, housing facility will be provided to the students of scheduled tribe category for preparation of Union Public Service Commission examinations. The state government will now take the responsibility of guarantee of Rs. 2 crore under the Yuva Udhyami yojna. Foundation of World level Industrial Training Institute will be laid in the month of March. Moreover action to bring the identified services of Higher Education Department under the Public Service Guarantee Act will be completed by March end. Information about colleges will be made online from the beginning of the session. Moreover Excellence college will be started from the next academic session.
Deendayal Rasoi Yojna from April 1
Deendayal Rasoi Yojna will be launched at all the district headquarters from April 1. Before this month end, arrangement of medical treatment upto Rs. 2 lakh will be implemented. Lalima campaign will be conducted for girls suffering from anemia. Scholarship will be given to all the talented children of tendu leaves collectors who secure more than 60 percent marks. Also smart phones will be provided to the girls under the Kanya Vivah and Nikah yojna.
