Auction of Country and Foreign Liquor Shops through E-Tenders in State

Bhopal: The state governments has taken a decision to auction country and foreign liquor shops for the year 2017 through e-tender. This arrangement will facilitate fairness and transparency in the auction of the liquor shops.
Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation has been entrusted the responsibility of e-tender system. Persons interested in auction system can register themselves on the portal www.mpeproc.gov.in of the state electronics development corporation. It may be mentioned that excise officers of 51 districts have been imparted training for e-tender system. Over 250 licensees of liquor shops have also been imparted training from January 16 to 24, 2017. There is an option to deposit earnest money through online and offline under the e-tender system.
Furthermore, this tender system will put an end to cartelization of liquor contractors and their connivance. Also e-tender will help increasing in revenue of the excise department.
