Mukhyamantri Swasthya Seva Shivir

Bhopal: Around 4000 children and financially weaker patients have been identified in Mukhyamantri Swasthya Seva Shivir held in 20 districts, who are suffering with serious diseases. The patients will get treatment in major hospitals. The patients suffering with serious diseases are being identified in the state in special camps started from January 15 who are deprived of treatment because poor financial condition. The camps will continue till February 27.

The campaign to identify such patients is underway by Public Health and Family Welfare Department and National Health Mission under Jila Beemari Sahayata and National Child Security Programme. Camps are being held in all districts. In the camps held so far, 16 thousand 576 patients have been registered in 20 district. There are 3,887 such patients who need costly medical treatment. They include 2,462 patients under National Child Security scheme  and 1,425 patients under Rajya Beemari Sahayata Yojana. The patients treatment estimate is being prepared by the department.

1661 patients have been identified for surgery in health check-up camps. Among them, 925 are children and 736 are other patients and their surgery will be carried out at district level. Patients are being identified under Bal-Hridya Upchar and Bal-Shrawan Upchar Yojana.

 Mukhyamantri Swasthya Seva Parikashan Shivir have been organised in Sehore, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa, Morena, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rajgarh, Balaghat, Satna, Jhabua, Bhind, Ujjain, Hoshangabad, Panna, Narsinghpur, Shahdol, Dhar, Gwalior and Shajapur districts.

Swasthya Seva Parikashan Shivir will be held in Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Umaria, Indore, Guna and Mandsaur district in collaboration with private hospitals in Bhopal the shivir will be held in JP Hospital

The camps will be held in Raisen, Tikamgarh, Mandala, Anooppur, Alirajpur, Datia and Ratlam on February 7, Betul, Dindori, Burhanpur and Ashok Nagar on February 13, Vidisha, Damoh, Seoni, Sidhi, Khargone, Shivpuri and Agar Malwa on February 20 and Harda, Katni, Singrauli, Barwani, Sheopur  and Dewas on February 27.-WTN
