In the Lok Sabha Elections of 2019, the Congress hoped that it would perform better than 2014, but this could not happen. After the historic defeat of Congress in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the situation in the party remains uncertain. That is why, because Congress President Rahul Gandhi has offered to resign from his post.
