#MeToo: Anu Malik left 'Indian Idol', Sona Mohapatra greets supporters
WTN- Enmeshed MeToo controversies results Bollywood Music composer Anu Malik once again dropped out of the singing reality show 'Indian Idol'. Malik left the show due to allegations of sexual harassment accusing him. However, it is not yet decided who will replace Malik in the show.

On Thursday, Singer Sona Mohapatra wrote an open letter to Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, requesting them to intervene in the matter. Subsequently, the National Commission for Women took cognizance and asked Sony TV for clarification in the whole matter. The notice was sent to Rohit Gupta, president of Sony Entertainment Television.

Sona also raised questions on Sony TV in the letter, he wrote, "What about those institutions that are employing people in spite of such allegations. Sony TV is also one of these, which ignored the allegations of many women Anu Malik and made him a Youngsters judge for 'Indian Idol' on national TV. "

Later on this controversial exit of Anu Malik, Sona Mohapatra again tweeted and said Tanks to her fans and supporters to be with her in #Move out Malik movement.
