Two Fruits Plants’ Saplings to be Gifted to each Newly Wedded Couple 

Bhopal: Minister for Environment Antar Singh Arya has urged all the Members of the Legislative Assembly to gift two saplings of fruits plants to each newly wedded couple under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojna. Arya has written a letter to all the MLAs in this regard. He said that this step will prove beneficial in environment conservation.

Arya in his letter wrote that this decision has been taken as per the intention of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He mentioned that group marriages of 1051 couples were solemnized in the presence of the Chief Minister Chouhan and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan on February 19 at Sendhwa Assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister Chouhan had gifted two saplings of fruit plants to each newly wedded couple. Chouhan had instructed to gift two saplings of fruit plants under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojna to each newly wedded couple in the state.-WTN
