First of all, keep in mind and do not share your banking details with anyone. That is, do not tell your debit or credit details and passcode to anyone. On the other hand, if you use net banking, never tell anyone the user and password of net banking. At the same time, if you are using any banking app and BHIM or any other payment app, do not reveal your password to anyone.

Try your best to do an online transaction from your mobile, laptop, or desktop. Also, keep in mind that while doing the online transaction, the internet connection should be private, and the internet connection should be secured with a password. Try your best not to pay online through cyber cafes or free Wi-Fi.

Sometimes your greed gets you in trouble. Actually, it has been seen that lottery, prize, or any other kind of greed is given to the users through e-mail, phone calls, and messages. And users greedily give their bank related information or personal information on asking. But we request you to never give such information to anyone.

Many times fraudsters send such emails to you as if they were sent from a bank or shopping website. In such an e-mail, it is said to click on a given link. But for your information, let us know that fraudsters send the address of the fake website through this link. As soon as you click on this link, a fake website opens. As soon as you fill banking and personal information on this fake website, the fraudsters hack your bank account through it.

WhatsApp has also come in the eyes of fraudsters! For your information, let us know that the fraudsters often share a QR code on WhatsApp. With this code, they send a message that scanning this code will credit money to your account. We advise you never to scan any QR code from an unknown number because if you do, it can hack your bank account. At the same time, fraudsters also ask you to use a screen-sharing app. Explain that such apps are a kind of malware, which transmits your mobile data to a third party.

At the same time, some hackers get the number of your SIM card by asking you to activate your SIM or add a new feature by becoming a custom care officer of a mobile network company to fraud. Remember that if you do this, then hackers will hack your SIM card, and all OTPs related to the bank will start coming to them. Actually, hackers have many ways of fraud. In this case, your alertness can save you from the trap of hackers. Remember, if you are cautious, hackers cannot cheat you at any cost.
