CM Chouhan reviews arrangements to prevent Corona infection 
 
Bhopal 31 March 2020: The Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed that the testing capacity should be increased so that the corona tests can be done immediately. Medical and other materials should be made available to all districts including Indore. Availability of food grains and food should be ensured for the needy as per their requirement. Workers and students of the state stranded in other states should also be given full help so that they can live comfortably wherever they are. Keeping in view the current Corona crisis, wheat procurement should be put on hold at the moment. It will be started immediately as the situation improves. Chouhan was reviewing corona related arrangements at Mantralaya today.

PPE Kits for Health Workers

The Chief Minister directed that every health worker should get PPE kit without any delay. The Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains informed that 2000 kits have been received today and soon we will receive 5,000 PPE kits daily. Apart from the health workers, instructions have been given to provide PPE Kits to the police personnel, revenue employees and others, working during the corona crisis.The Chief Secretary further informed that our Coronavirus testing capacity will become one thousand till April 9. Currently, this capacity has reached upto 480. He stated that efforts are also being made for ‘Mass Testing’ arrangement for detecting coronavirus.

Must wear Masks

The Chief Minister Chouhan told the people of the state that they should use masks necessarily as a precaution to prevent coronavirus. The masks and sanitizers are available in ample quantity in the entire state. In case of non-availability of masks, the three fold mask of cloth can also be used. It was informed at the meeting that while using sanitizer, precaution should be taken that one should avoid going near the fire when it is wet in the hand.

Arrangement for Food Grains and Food

The Chief Minister directed that the provision of food grains and food supply to the people should be smooth. There is no shortage of foodgrins and food in the state. The Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Shivshekhar Shukla informed that the Helpline Desk number 18002332797 is active for this and 14 thousand phone calls have been received yet on this number. Food is being supplied to all. Helpline Number 181 is for the food grain supply. The supply of fair price pulses will begin from April 10. Under the Ujjawala Yojana, free gas cylinders will be given to the connection holders till next three months after April 01. The Chief Minister instructed that the help of Jan Abhiyan Parishad and other organisations should be taken in the works of supplying food grains and food etc.
 
Arrangement for workers and students stranded out of state

The Chief Minister directed that arrangements of food, medicines, etc. for the stranded workers and the students pursuing studies outside the state should be maintained properly. It was reported that 4 to5 thousand calls have been received so far on helpline number - 8989011180, 0755-2411180. All the arrangements are being made and problems of all are being solved. 

Religious groups and Jamaat must follow lockdown

The Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the state has received a list of 107b people of the state, who had participated in the Tableegh Jamaat. They should be identified and placed in quarantine. Along with, it should be ensured that any religious group or Jamaat should not move around the places and should strictly follow the total lockdown. Window to News
