Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the situation and arrangements of Corona
Bhopal 22 May 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that preventing Corona infection is our first priority. Therefore, all districts should work very carefully in such a way that the infection does not spread anywhere. Also ensure the best treatment of infected patients. Eid festival should be celebrated at home. Physical distancing should be fully followed.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing. Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Mr. Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mr. Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Medical Education Mr. Sanjay Shukla were present on the occasion.
189 new positives, 246 recovered
ACS Health Mr. Suleman said that according to the report of May 22, 189 new Corona patients have been found in the state, while 246 patients have gone home after getting healthy. There has been a decrease of 59 in the active cases of Corona. Now there are 2809 active cases of corona in the state. No corona positive has come in Katni and Narsinghpur districts of the state, while Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Anuppur, Chhindwara and Harda districts have become infection free.
No need for e-pass from green to green zone
Chief Minister Chouhan informed that now e-pass will not be required to go from green zone to green zone. Chief Secretary Bains said that the rules of the guidelines should be followed and people should not be prevented unnecessarily from moving.
Negligence will not be tolerated
During the review of Mandsaur district, it was told that in three days 23 cases of Corona increased there. On this, Chief Minister Chouhan directed that work should be done with utmost care and seriousness, even a little carelessness will not be tolerated.
Just beginning, be careful
During the review of Singrauli district, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed that the corona infection is just beginning in the district, take full care, the infection should not go ahead. Take samples, test and trace contact history.
Compulsory health screening of incoming laborers
In a review of Rewa district, Chief Minister Chouhan directed that workers should be compulsorily health screened from outside. The collector has informed that so far 55 thousand migrant laborers have arrived in the district. There were 26 cases of corona in the district, of which one has been discharged and gone home.
119 trains have arrived, 10 more will come
Additional Chief Secretary ICP Keshari informed that 119 trains have arrived in Madhya Pradesh and now 10 more trains will come. So far, 5 lakh one thousand laborers have returned to the state through buses and trains. Out of these, 3.5 lakh laborers have come to the state through buses and an equal number of laborers from outside states have been sent from the state.
108 lakh 50 thousand metric tons of wheat acquired
Principal Secretary Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that 108 lakh 50 thousand MTs of wheat have been collected from 14 lakh 40 thousand farmers in the state so far. Out of this, Rs 12 thousand 200 crore has been paid to 10 lakh 55 thousand farmers. 83% of the wheat procured has been transported and stored.
Rescue from locust swarm
Principal Secretary Agriculture Ajit Kesari informed that arrangements have been made to protect locust swarm in all districts of the state. All the districts have stock of medicines and are being sprayed to drive them away from the fields. The locust swarm entered the state from Neemuch district - Window to News
