CM Chouhan reviews Corona status and other arrangements
Bhopal 23 May 2020: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that better arrangements are being ensured in the state for the treatment of Corona. A large number of Fever Clinics have also started functioning in the state. The corona recovery rate has reached 51 percent. All the Collectors should ensure that the lockdown be strictly followed and the exemptions should be given as per the guidelines in their respective districts.
Chouhan was reviewing the status of corona and other arrangements through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. The Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Medical Education Sanjay Shukla and other Officers were present on the occasion.
Health checkup of 27 thousand 484 persons conducted in fever clinics
The Additional Chief Secretary Health Suleman informed that health checkup of 27 thousand 484 persons have been conducted at One thousand 496 fever clinics of the state. Of these, 24 thousand 505 have been advised for home isolation, samples of 6 thousand 415 persons have been taken and out these, 2 thousand 824 persons have been sent to Covid Care Centres/Hospitals.
Survey of 6 lakh 34 thousand persons conducted in Ujjain
During the review of Ujjain district, it was informed that the health survey of 6 lakh 34 thousand people has already been conducted in Ujjain district. Nagda area of the district has become free of infection. In the next 2-3 days, the trauma centre will start functioning as Covid hospital. The Collector of Ujjain has been directed to make arrangement of 10 more ambulances.
New discharge criteria
The ACS Health Suleman informed that according to the new discharge criteria, corona patients, who are in good health, do not have symptoms of corona and not been suffering from fever for the last three days, can now be discharged in 10 days. After this they will have to stay in home isolation for 7 days.
E-pass must to leave Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain
The Principal Secretary Sanjay Dubey informed that e-pass system has been abolished to move from green zone to green zone in the state but e-pass will be required to leave Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain. Similarly, e-pass will also be required for movement to other states and entering Madhya Pradesh.
Bags arrangement for procurement
The Chief Minister Chouhan said that the procurement of wheat in the state has exceeded the target of 100 lakh MT and it has reached 111 lakh 62 thousand MT till date. There are 20 lakh registered farmers in the state, till now 14 lakh 67 thousand farmers have sold wheat at support price. Arrangement of bags should be made for the wheat procurement, he added.
5 lakh 14 thousand labourers return to state
TheAdditional Chief Secretary I.C.P. Keshri informed that so far a total of 5 lakh 14 thousand migrant labourers have already returned to Madhya Pradesh by 122 trains and thousands of buses. Out of these, One lakh 54 thousand by trains and 3 lakh 60 thousand labourers by buses have returned to the state. A total of 130 trains are expected to arrive in the state.
