Farmers need not worry, will procure their whole wheat
CM Shri Chouhan reviews Corona status and other arrangements
Bhopal 26 May 2020: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that patients suffering from corona are returning to their homes in large number after the health recovery in the state. The recovery rate of Madhya Pradesh has reached 53 percent now, where as the recovery rate of the country is 41.8 percent. Similarly, the doubling rate of corona has become 21 days in Madhya Pradesh. The doubling rate of the country is 15.4 days, he added.
Chouhan further mentioned that farmers need not worry; their whole wheat will be procured. He directed that the wheat procurement work should be conducted in the districts, where the registered farmers have not been able to sell wheat till now at support price. Till date, 116 lakh 18 thousand MT wheat has already been procured in the state. At the same time, an amount of Rs. 15 thousand 134 crore has been sent in the bank accounts of 11 lakh 56 thousand farmers.
The Chief Minister was reviewing the status of Corona and other arrangements in the state through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. The Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Medical Education Sanjay Shukla and other Officers were present on the occasion.
Mortality rate becomes less because of early detection
During the review of Indore district, the Collector informed that the mortality rate is coming down significantly due to the early detection of patients through intensive survey and tests in Indore. The mortality rate of Corona in Indore was 3.6, M.P.'s mortality rate is 4.1 percent and India’s is 2.6 percent. Last week, Indore's corona mortality rate was 1.08 percent. The doubling rate of corona patients has become 30 days. The number of infected wards in the city has come down from 79 to 62.
Excellent work being done by Fever Clinics
Moreover, the Indore Collector has informed that excellent work is being carried out by the Fever Clinics in Indore. Ambulance arrangement has also been made in every fever clinic. Fever clinics have started functioning in private and government sector both.
500-Bed Super Specialty Hospital in Indore
It was informed during the review that the construction of 500-Bed Super Specialty hospital in Indore is underway; the hospital will start functioning around June 15.
Continuous improvement in Indore division’s condition
The Divisional Commissioner Indore Division has informed that continuous improvement is taking place in all the districts of Indore division. As many as 104 patients out of 114 have been discharged in Dhar. Similarly, 95 out of 119 in Khargone, 184 out of 232 in Khandwa, 30 out of 41 in Barwani and 6 out of 13 corona patients have been discharged in Jhabua .
Boost morale of Police Personnel
The Minister for Health and Home Narottam Mishra asked to boost the morale of police personnel and the entire team engaged in prevention of Corona. Many police personnel and health workers are living away from their families due to Corona's duty. Their families should also be taken care of, he asserted.
Make arrangement for 12th examinations
The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed that 12th examinations are to be conducted from 8th to 16th June, Collectors should make necessary arrangements in this regard.
More than 1.50 lakh Job Cards prepared under Shram Siddhi campaign
The Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Shrivastava informed that under the on going Shram Siddhi Abhiyan, job cards of more than One lak 50 thousand labourers have been prepared in the state. Till date, 23 lakh 26 thousand 964 persons have been provided employment. A total of One lakh 95 thousand 989 works have already been started in the state. Under these works, Rs. 1235 crore has been paid to the labourers.
05 lakh 45 thousand labourers returned to state
TheAdditional Chief Secretary I.C.P. Keshri informed that 05 lakh 45 thousand migrant labourers have returned to Madhya Pradesh till date. Out of these 03 lakh 83 thousand labourers have returned by buses and One lakh 62 thousand labourers by trains. So far 129 train states have returned to the state. The Principal Secretary Sanjay Dubey informed that some labourers of the state are still stranded in Jammu and Kashmir, there is a need to run two trains to repatriate them.
