Seeing the threat after the Pearl Harbor attack, security officials asked him to leave the White House and move to a safer place. But President Roosevelt refused to leave the White House and suggested building a secret place inside the White House.

Due to the threat of the White House, preparations began to build a bunker in the East Wing of the White House that did not even impact bullets and bombs. This bunker is so secret that it is impossible for anyone to reach here. According to the information, when this bunker was being built, then President Roosevelt used to come to see it. This bunker was being built in such a secret way that no one was allowed to come there except for President Roosevelt.

Improvements in this bunker continued from time to time. Former American President Harry Truman further increased the system of this secret bunker. Over time, this banker has been made so strong, and it is claimed that there will be no impact on this bunker even until the atomic bomb attack.

According to the information, this bunker is spread over 600 square feet in which 16 people can sit. Apart from the living room, this bunker also has a command room, TV room, and conference room. It is claimed that many officials, including the then President and Vice President, took refuge in this bunker due to the apprehension of another major attack after the 9/11 attack in New York.
