Girija Kumar appointed CMD of United India Insurance

Chennai March 20 (IANS) The central government has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of United India Insurance Company to A.V. Girija Kumar the company said on Monday.

In a statement issued here the United India Insurance said Girija Kumar has taken charge as the CMD. He was previously Director and General Manager.

He started his career with the New India Assurance as direct officer recruit in 1980.
