The Railways takes the full advantage of 'Once in a Lifetime' opportunity!

JUNE 30 (WTN) - Due to the mistake, negligence, and irresponsible attitude of the Chinese leftist government,

the Coronavirus infection epidemic has so far claimed more than 5 lakh 8 thousand lives. Coronavirus infection to have originated and spread from Wuhan city of China has so far infected more than 12 million 29 thousand people all over the world.

As far as India is concerned, a long lockdown was imposed across the country to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus infection. During this lockdown, passenger trains remained closed for a long time. Due to the suspension of the operation of the passenger trains for a long time, it is natural that the Railways had to lose crores of rupees. But during this time, the Indian Railways has done such a great work, which can be said that the Indian Railways has done the work of turning the disaster into an opportunity.

Due to the lockdown, the railway tracks remained vacant for several days due to the suspension of the passenger trains for a long time. In such a situation, taking advantage of the 'Once in a Lifetime' opportunity, the Railways have completed more than 200 projects pending for the last several years using empty tracks and free time.

Now, as the railway tracks were vacant during the lockdown, the Railways completed projects to improve the safety of trains, increase train speed through tracks, and the doubling of railway lines. Not only this but during the lockdown, the Railways has completed many projects pending over the years such as maintenance related work, repairing of old bridges, laying of electric lines, and yard re-modeling.

Actually, the Indian Railways was not able to complete many big projects due to the non-availability of the empty tracks. In such a situation, taking advantage of the 'Once in a Lifetime' opportunity during the lockdown, the Railways repaired 82 old rail bridges.

The railway removed 14 old foot overbridges during maintenance work. At the same time, 7 road over bridges and 5 yards were renovated during this period. Not only this, as taking advantage of the empty track, the Railways also completed a project of the doubling of the track and a project related to electrification. Apart from this, Indian Railways has also completed 26 other projects at the time of the lockdown.

Not only this, railways have upgraded the signal system in some places during this period. As far as the pilot project of the Indian Railways and the BHEL to run the train with solar energy has also been tested during the lockdown. Explain that for this, this 1.7 MW project to start 25 KV electricity directly into the OHL (Over Head Line) has been installed in Bina.

It may be said that the Railways has lost crores of rupees due to the stoppage of the passenger trains during the lockdown, but turning the disaster into an opportunity, the Railways completed many projects to have been closed for years. Now, as before, passenger trains will be operational once again, the completion of many projects to have been stuck for years will provide a lot of convenience to the passengers.
