UIDAI provides Aadhar card reprint facility

JULY 02 (WTN) - You know how important the Aadhaar card is for every citizen of India. From the bank to the passport office, and in the making of ration card to driving license, as well as for getting government subsidy, Aadhaar card has become one of the important documents. But many times, it happens that either your Aadhaar card is lost or stolen, or the newly generated Aadhaar card cannot be delivered you from the post.

In all these situations, you get quite upset. But now, you don't have to worry at all. Actually, now, you can easily reprint your Aadhaar card. What is its entire process? Let's tell you about it in detail.

If you want a new Aadhaar card, then you need to do an easy process on the website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) or mAadhaar app, and you will have to place an order for the new Aadhaar reprint. But for your information, let's know that to apply for the Aadhaar reprint, it is very important to have the Aadhaar Card Number or VID (Virtual Identification).

But if your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, then you can still get Aadhaar reprinted. If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, then you can also complete this process through the OTP on any non-registered mobile number.

To get the Aadhaar card reprint, firstly, you have to open a website called www.uidai.gov.in. After opening this website, you will see an option named 'My Aadhaar section' here. After going into this option, you have to click on 'Order Aadhaar Reprint'.

After completing this process, you will have to enter the Aadhaar number or VID, after which you will also have to enter the security code. After this whole process, if your mobile number is registered, then you have to click on the 'Send OTP' option. At the same time, if your mobile number is not registered, then after clicking in the box of non-registered mobile number, you will have to enter your mobile number there and then click on send OTP. After entering OTP, you have to read the terms and conditions and then tick it in the box.

After this whole process, you will see the photo of the Aadhar card on the screen, and you can also download it. But for those whose mobile number is registered with Aadhaar, a preview of Aadhaar reprint will appear. But print preview will not be available to those whose mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar.

After checking the details in the preview, you have to click on the 'Make Payment'. You can pay via credit card, debit card, UPI, or netbanking. Explain that for charging Aadhaar reprint, a charge of Rs 50 is set, including GST and speed post charge.

After making payment for the Aadhaar card reprint, information such as receipt number, SRN, date and time of payment, and transaction ID will be displayed on the screen. At the same time, you will also get the option to download the enrollment slip. But you must note the SRN number. You will also get an SMS with SRN details on the mobile number you have entered.

The reprinted Aadhaar Card will be delivered via speed post to the registered address of the Aadhar card holder within 15 days. After applying for the Aadhaar card reprint, you can also check the status of your application on the UIDAI website.
