Takes part in bhoomi-pujan worth Rs 640 crore and Vikas Parv cum Antyodaya Mela in Bamori
Bhopal September 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that although there is a shortage of funds due to Corona crisis, but public welfare and development works will not halt in the state. He said that in the coming three years, pure drinking water will be supplied to every house through taps and every poor person will have his own pucca house. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Vikas Parv cum Antyodaya Mela at Bamori of Guna district after performing bhoomi pujan of development works worth about Rs 640 crore.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that before reaching Bamori, Rs 101 crore have been transferred to the accounts of meritorious students for laptops. Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana has been implemented in the state, in which about 77 lakh farmers will be provided with the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. He said that the Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana will be re-started after Corona crisis ends. He also said that the Khairua caste will be included in the Scheduled Tribes.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan interacted with the farmers and even inspected their affected soybean crop. He said that the farmers will be provided with the relief amount for their crops, damaged by excess rainfall. For this, instructions have been given to the district administration to conduct the survey with honesty.
Chief Minister Chouhan released the booklet “Vikas Ke Naye Aayam” focused on the development of Guna district. On this occasion, he also wished speedy recovery to Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia, infected by corona virus.
On this occasion, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia addressed the programme online from Chirayu Hospital, Bhopal and reiterated his commitment for the complete development of Bamori area.
