Another new chapter added in development of Morena: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 28 September 2020:  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a tale of development is being written in the state with the guidance and help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. New chapters will be added to this tale of development. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the inaugural function of 1.5 k.m. long flyover, constructed in Morena at a cost of Rs. 108 crore via webcast from Bhopal. Union Minister for Agriculture, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar was the Chief Guest of the programme, held in Morena. Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways General V.K. Singh, Union Minister of State for Steel Phaggan Singh Kulaste and Member of Rajya Sabha Jyotiraditya Scindia attended the programme online.

Expressing gratitude to the Union Minister for Road Transport i Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief Minister Chouhan said that with the construction of flyover, the movement will be convenient and comfortable in Morena. Today, a new chapter has been added in the development of Morena. He further mentioned that the area is moving forward on the path of development with the activities like upgrading Morena to Municipal Corporation, construction of hospital and collectorate building, road network and expansion of irrigation facilities. The work is also underway as regard to starting of Sainik School in Bhind and to bring water from Chambal in Morena. The development activities will be continued. Morena will establish its distinct identity in the country. Chief Minister Chouhan thanked Union Minister Thawarchand Gehlot for setting up Divyang Parisar in Gwalior. Chief Minister Chouhan further stated that the Agriculture Bill brought on the initiative of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will prove to be a milestone in the direction to double farmers’ income.

On the occasion of inauguration, Union Minister for Agriculture, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar said that the flyover will save fuel as well as time. Along with this, people will get rid of pollution and accidents. Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways General V.K. Singh said on the occasion that better roads accelerate development. This flyover will change the condition of the area and lead to progress. Member of Parliament Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Minister of State for Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Girraj Dandotia, former Minister Rustom Singh and Munshilal were present at the programme – Window to News
