CM Chouhan informs about preparations for Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal 24 November 2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that efforts are being made in India as well as other countries for vaccination to protect against Corona. This work is in its last phase. Whatever vaccine India provides will meet the scientific criteria and there will be a countrywide system of its consumption. Prime Minister Modi said that the Central government has been making every effort to tackle the challenge of Corona in the last few months. The states have also done a good job by being alert and active in relation to prevention of Corona, treatment of patients and future conditions. We are moving from the deep sea of disaster towards the shore. But caution is still must. The lines of a poet who said “hamari kashti bhi wahin doobi, jahan pani kam tha” should not come true. Prime Minister Modi was holding a discussion about the distribution of Covid-19 vaccine and its administration in a video conference with the chief ministers of states. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed the Prime Minister Modi about the preparations being made in Madhya Pradesh.
Do not be callous till the vaccine arrives - PM
Prime Minister Modi said that when Corona had begun, the problem was very serious in some countries. Our effort was to minimize casualties in India with such a huge population. We were successful also in this effort. Everyone must be made aware, there should be no laxity, there is not much time in the arrival of vaccine now but till then all precautions have to be followed. The Government of India is constantly monitoring the making of the vaccine. It has not yet been fixed as to how much dose has to be administered to the people. We have to move forward in the global context. Prime Minister Modi said that in my message before the festivals, I had said that laxity should not become risky, everyone should be alert. When fear ends, a situation of carelessness begins. Prime Minister Modi said that we have seen the Corona conditions in four phases. In the first phase, there was fear. In the second phase, there was fear coupled with suspicion. There was fear of infection spreading among family members. With this, people started hiding facts about being infected. In the third phase, people began to accept the problem and taking care. Now in the fourth phase, they have become more serious and alert. Increased recovery rate does not mean negligence should increase. Positivity rate has been reduced by making use of testing facilities. There should be no shortfall in continuous monitoring of isolation patients, vaccine supply system and awareness campaigns. If a single death occurs anywhere, its root cause must be identified. Efforts have been made ever since the battle against Corona began, to save every single person. This is also our resolve. Prime Minister Modi said that the work of vaccination campaign will continue for a long time. For this, teamwork is must. Prime Minister Modi said that suggestions have been sought today from the states on vaccine distribution system. These suggestions will also be implemented. Prime Minister Modi expected the states to undertake the work of distribution of vaccine smoothly. He also urged the states to send suggestions in writing soon.
Prime Minister Modi also took stock of the situation in the eight states where the problem of Corona is still very serious.
Prime Minister Modi also gave a patient ear to the Chief Ministers of these states including Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Kerala, Gujarat, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The Union Health Secretary gave a presentation on the occasion.
Activities allowed in unlock but
precautions must be followed- Amit Shah
At the outset, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that this battle has been fought successfully so far. Outcome has also been good. The public has also fought the battle. Increasing cold and pollution in North India may become a cause for concern. Let us all be aware as festivals have also caused infection to increase. If we analyze minutely, it may be noticed that there has been a decrease in awareness. In this case, there should be no laxity. Declining mortality rate also removes people’s fear psychologically, it also reduces awareness, activities are allowed in unlock situation but if we follow precautions then the problem will not increase. Amit Shah said that awareness about rescheduling of Containment Zones, use of face masks, frequent washing of hands, maintaining two yard distance and use of apps is must. He urged the Chief Ministers of states to activate the administration to follow the guidelines, continue testing, adhere strictly to norms and continue to be cautious.

In this regard, work will be done in consultation with the National Expert Group at the implementation level.
